Workshops

Come and have a go on the pottery wheel. I offer one to one teaching in my spacious studio in Mount Hawke.

With 20 years of teaching experience I can teach many techniques within ceramics; from throwing to hand building.

Starting from £60 per 2.5 hr clay session. I also offer 'Rent a Bench' if there is work you would like to develop yourself over a period of time.

Prices:

£60 per 2.5 hr Clay session, throwing on the wheel or handbuilding. All materials, firings and glazing included.

I have space for two people at a time and will offer 10% off the total price for two.

After the first initial session, if you would like to book further sessions to learn how to finish your pieces yourself I will take 10% off your next sessions. For example for 3 x 2.5 hr sessions, £180 with 10% off = £162

'Rent a Bench' = £10 per hr if you are someone with ideas and skills with no space, you can rent a space from me and have access to my space, tools and equipment.

Throwing Sessions

£60 = 2.5 hour Throwing session, including materials, firings and glazing. (A cuppa and chat also included!).

Turning Sessions

If you would like to learn more about the finishing of your pots you can book further sessions to learn how to turn (tidying up the bottoms of pots, trimming) your pots as well as applying handles.

I offer 10% off each additional workshop you book

Glazing & Decoration

To further learn the finishing touches to your pots, I also offer glazing and decorating sessions.
